The Accidental Addiction

So I have been taking pictures of birds since April 2019. It came after I acquired a long telephoto 150-600mm lens for a trip to shoot scenery and wildlife in the cold winter month of February in Hokkaido. Not wanting to see the lens put into cold storage or worse, selling it off, I took it for a spin around Pasir Ris Park upon the recommendation of a birder friend of mine. 
There I met a couple of avid birders and their dedication and enthusiasm has rubbed on to me ever since.
